Lorraine Yarrusso Neff, 74, passed away February 19, 2024. She was born in Wilmington on October 15, 1949 to Julia Hlywak and Vito Yarrusso. Lorraine is survived by daughters Juliaann Krauss (William) and Lisa Neff.
Lorraine graduated from P.S. DuPont High School and worked for New Castle County for over 40 years. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling with friends and volunteering with the St. Anne’s Sisterhood, where she enjoyed making pierogis even though she never cooked at home.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on February 26 at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church (1406 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809). The viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Lawn Croft Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
