Lundberg, Dustin Karl

Dustin K. Lundberg - dedicated husband and father of two - passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2024 at the age of 54.

Dustin was born September 20, 1969 in Springfield, Pa, to parents David Lundberg Sr. And the late Barbara Lundberg. Dustin attended William Penn High School and went to work for County Insulation company where he was employed for more than 25 years.

Dustin is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Teresa Lundberg of Newark DE; two biological children, Alexis Lundberg of Newark, DE, Jacob Lundberg of Newark DE, along with two nieces that he helped raise, Nikole Healey and Jaya Taylor, father David Lundberg Sr., brothers David Lundberg Jr., Keith Lundberg Sr., in-laws, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Lundberg and brother Donald Lundberg Sr.

In 1986 Dustin met his loving wife Teresa at Burger King training her to make hamburgers on the burger board. Not only did Dustin train her on making a Burger King “burger“, he taught her what loyalty and love was and was always her biggest champion. The most important thing to Dustin was the happiness and success of his wife, children, family, and friends. He would do anything within his power to help his family and friends in their time of need. Because of Dustin’s giving nature he was able to help other families with his passing by giving the ultimate gift, life because of his organ donation. Please consider being an organ donor in honor of Dustin’s memory.

Anyone who knew Dustin knew he was happiest when he was at his place at the beach with his family and the many individuals, he befriended during his summers there. His next biggest passion in life was his beloved Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Flyers. He would put on his jersey while watching the games and drinking his Miller Genuine Draft cheering them on to a win. He never gave up on his teams.

A celebration of life to honor Dustin will be held on February 26, 2024 at 12:00 noon at McCrery and Harra, 3710 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington De 19808. We invite you all from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon to bring a picture or two and your fondest, funniest, and/or outrageous memories that you have of Dustin.
