Marcille B. “Anderson passed away on February 11, 2024.
She was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie C. Blalock. Marcille graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She retired in 1992 as a school teacher for the Brandywine School District. Marcille was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church and enjoyed playing bridge.
Marcille was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ronald Roy Anderson. She is survived by her son, David M. Anderson (Jena) and her grandchildren, David, Dawson, and Rebecca.
Friends may call on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Faith Presbyterian Church, 720 Marsh Road, Wilmington, DE 19803 where a service will follow on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
