Jane Frances Blessing, age 58, of Newark, Delaware, formerly of Pace, Florida passed away on January 23, 2024.
Jane attended the University of Delaware earning her BA Early Childhood Education & Wilmington College to receive a Master’s Degree in education. Jane also graduated from Central Carolina Community College with an Associates Degree in Accounting. Jane spent her career in early education at Carrcroft Elementary in Wilmington Delaware, Johnsonville School in Camrron North Carolina, Montclair Elementary School in Pensacola Florida & Brent Elementary School in Pensacola Florida.
Jane is survived by her husband of 28 years, Leonard D. Blessing, Jr.; her mother Elizabeth Morris; 11 siblings, Christine Jarrell, Buffy Caflisch, Frank Morris, Tim Morris, Susan Elliott, Ellen Gonzalez, Patricia Green, Marie Scott, Kate Donnelly, David Morris, Dan Morris and her beloved dog Pokey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her father Frank X. Morris, two dogs, Gypsy and Honey, along with her cat Catomine.
A remembrance gathering will be held for family and friends in late spring.
Jane will be laid to rest privately at a later date in All Saints Cemetery.
