Evalou “Evelyn” Hall
10/15/32-1/13/24
Born in Williamson, W. VA, to Kenny L. Brunty and Catherine E. Varney. She grew up on the family farm with her 14 siblings and various nieces and nephews, later moving to Delaware with her sister, Mary.
She became a dedicated wife to Donald H. Hall and a wonderful mother to their 5 children. Evelyn worked as an assembler for a munitions firm in Elkton, took various positions in retail and eventually became a Certified Nursing Assistant at Foulk Manor Nursing Home until her retirement. She loved family, birds, gardening, reading and was an awesome country cook.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Donald and great granddaughter Eva E. Guertin. She is survived by her 5 children; Deborah Rigby (Jon), Donna DiBiaso (James), Lawrence Hall (Valerie-deceased), Kenneth Hall (Joyce) and Lisaann Haas (Richard) in addition to her 9 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Immanuel Church2414 Pennsylvania Ave. Wilmington, DE 19806, Visitation at 10:00. Service at 11:00. Luncheon to follow Interment will be private
