Dominick M. Bacci, age 72, of Bear, DE, passed away unexpectedly at Christiana Hospital on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and was the son of the late Margaret (Dean) and Oliver Bacci. Dominick’s life career was a proud welder. He was a member of Boilermakers Local 13 for over 30 years.
He enjoyed building model lighthouses and boats. Dominick cherished the most, was time spent with his family especially crabbing on the Wye River with his son Bradford and going to the Jersey Shore with the grandkids. He was a devoted member of Cornerstone Ministries.
He is also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Bacci in 2017 and his 3 siblings, Diane Moncrief, Patsy DePerro and William Bacci. Dominick is survived by his 3 sons, Bradford Bacci (Jennifer) of Wilmington, DE, James Bacci (Marni) of Murfreesboro, TN and Jason Bacci (Kimberly) of Edgewater, MD; 3 grandchildren, Bradford and Julia Bacci of Wilmington, DE and Erika Bacci of Edgewater, MD.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 12 at 11 am at Grace Church of Wilmington, 116 W. 41st Street, Wilmington, DE 19802. Burial will be private.
