Josephine H. Watkins, age 91, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Wednesday December 27, 2023. Born in Wilmington, DE on July 23, 1932, daughter of the late Richard F. Hopkins Sr. and Josephine (Cihocki) Hopkins. She graduated from Wilmington High School, worked in banking and became a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her husband Paul M. Watkins and her brother Richard F. Hopkins Jr. She is survived by her son, Michael P. Watkins, daughters, Kathleen Derrickson and Sharon (John) Hutchison; grandchildren, Melissa, Lisa, Sean, Kaitlyn, and great grandchildren, Julie, Mya, Angelina, Ava, Anna and Colton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on January 10, 2024 at Corpus Christi Parish, 905 New Road Wilmington, DE 19805. Burial will be private.
