Kathleen L. (Miller) Rossi, age 66, of Bear, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, on December 16, 2023.
She was born and raised in Wilmington, DE and is the daughter of the late Mary (Jennings) and Larry Wright. Kathleen graduated from Delcastle VoTech.
She was the owner of the Sugar & Spice Day Care, New Castle for over 20 years. More importantly to her was raising her family. Kathleen enjoyed reading, knitting, arts & crafts, fishing and playing Yahtzee and Scrabble especially with her family.
Kathleen’s husband of 49 years, Arthur M. Rossi passed away in September of 2023. She is survived by her 3 sons, Art, Stephen (Diana) and Phil (Jen); 4 grandchildren, Andrew, RJ, Hannah and Tre; 5 siblings, Cecil Saunders (Susan), Bobby Green (Robyn), Eddie Miller (Sherry), Rhonda Holmes and Wayne Miller (Joan Rutherford) and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Mary Elizabeth Rossi and a sister Jerry Miller
A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 23, from 10-11 am at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood, Hwy, Wilmington, followed by a funeral at 11am. Entombment will be held privately.
