Rebecca S. Bihary (Becky), 69, Wilmington, DE, died at home Saturday Nov. 25, 2023, after a long battle with endometrial cancer. Her family was by her side.
Becky was born July 25, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the beloved daughter of Patricia G. Bihary (Neuhof) and the late John Bihary, and the loving sister of Sandra L. Bihary-Waltz (Sam Waltz), Wilmington, DE. She is also survived by numerous loving relatives and extended family in the Bihary, Neuhof and Waltz families.
Becky enjoyed her family and countless friends, including the family’s “girls’ trips” to the Jersey Shore. Becky and her family lived in Pittsburgh, PA for over 60 years, and moved to Delaware in May 2016 to be closer to her sister and family. Becky’s father died in March 2012.
Becky was very involved in activities with Special Olympics programs (bowling, and tennis were her favorites). While in Pittsburgh, Becky was very active in Shining Arrow; a program for developmentally challenged children and adults.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, 5 December 2023, at the Good News Church, 957 Old Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707. Visitation will be held from 10:30am with a memorial service at 11am. Burial will be private.
