Andrea Ann Ridgik, 56, of Wilmington, DE died Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Andrea was a graduate of Concord High School and Goldey Beacom College. She spent her entire career with Chubb (formerly Ace American Insurance Co.), most recently as a Senior Financial Analyst.
Andrea enjoyed serving Thanksgiving dinners at the Salvation Army, Children’s House, and Atonement Methodist Church. When not volunteering, she loved relaxing at her pool, reading, spending time in Lewes and Myrtle Beach with her extended family, and attending the Sea Witch Festival.
Andrea is survived by her sister, Kathie Veasey of West Grove, PA; brother, Edward W. Ridgik, Jr. of Wilmington, DE; and her extended family: Bob and Kathy DeLacy; Rebecca, Adam, Sophia, Allison, and Eden Golden; Bobby, Julie, Bryce, and Jase DeLacy; Mike and Debbie Whitaker; John and Cindy Dennis; Rev. Brett and Jan Castle; Darrell Hamrick; and the rest of her Myrtle Beach family.
A memorial service for Andrea will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 23, at the Atonement Methodist Church (3519 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703). Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105).
