Nuala Meuser, age 85, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Baldwin, NY, passed away on October 9, 2023 with her daughter by her side.
She was born and raised in Cavan County, Ireland and was the daughter of the late Patrick and Anna Mary Luby. In 1956 Nuala, along with her late brother Patrick came to the United States and settled in Long Island, NY. She worked as a bookkeeper in New York. While at a skating rink she met the love of her life, Kenneth Meuser. They married in 1961. They moved to Baldwin, NY where they started a family. Ken’s job transferred him to Wilmington, DE.
Nuala was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and the Delaware Saengerbund and was active in the North Graylin Crest Civic Assoc.
Her husband, Kenneth, passed away in 2022. Nuala is survived by her daughter Helen; 5 siblings and many nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by 5 siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on, Monday, October 16 at 12 noon at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4701 Weldin Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803. Burial will be private
