Wesley J. Nicholson passed away on September 24th, 2023, in Wilmington, DE.
Wesley (“Wes”) was born in Newark, DE to Erin and Robert Nicholson. He is also survived by his sister Lilah Jane (who he lovingly referred to as “May May”), his paternal grandparents, Robert D. Nicholson and Kimberly Edwards, his maternal grandmother, Claire Stevens, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Wes lived every day with a smile on his face and a heart full of love. He loved taking walks to the park, running everywhere he went, looking after his sister, and climbing on every fire truck when he visited his dad at work. Wes made friends everywhere he went.
He loved visiting the Brandywine Zoo, as well as the “Dinosaur Museum” (Delaware Museum of Nature and Science) where he could learn all about one of his favorite topics… animals.
Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, September 28th, from 9:30am – 12:00pm at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808, where a service will follow at 12:00pm. The burial will be at All Saints Cemetery. To send condolences visit: www.mccreryandharra.com
